What Comes in the Box:

  • IP68 Waterproof Rock Lights (quantity depends on kit)
  • Waterproof Bluetooth Control Module
  • IP68 Waterproof Remote Control
  • Mounting Bolts and Nuts
  • 5ft Extension Wires
  • Zip Ties

Tools and Materials Needed:

  • Drill with bits slightly larger than the included mounting bolts (optional if you're going with our Extreme Magnet Mounts)
  • Screwdriver
  • Zip ties

Step 1: Prep and Test Like a Pro

  1. Unbox Like a Boss: Take everything out of the box and lay it out. Make sure nothing is hiding!
  2. Test Before You Drill: Connect the wiring harness to your battery (black wire to negative, red wire to positive). Test all the lights using the remote or LEDShow app. If everything lights up like a Christmas tree, you’re good to go.
  3. App Time: Download the LEDShow app for Apple & Android, turn on your phone’s Bluetooth, and pair it with the control module. Time to flex those app-control skills.

Step 2: Installing the Bluetooth Control Module

  1. Perfect Placement: Tuck the control module inside the frame, away from engine heat. Trust us, you don’t want to fry it.
  2. Lock It Down: Secure the control box with zip ties so it doesn't rattle like an old toolbox.
  3. Wire It Smart: We recommend wiring it to an on/off switch to avoid power drain.

Step 3: Mounting the Rock Lights

In the Wheel Well:

  1. Remove Liners: Take off the plastic liners if they’re in the way.
  2. Drill, Baby, Drill: Pick a spot for the lights, pre-drill the mounting holes, and don’t forget the third hole for the wire lead.
  3. Bolt It Up: Use the provided bolts and nuts to secure the light in place. Feed the wire through that third hole you drilled earlier.

Optional Magnetic Mounts:

  1. Magnetic Magic: If you’re using magnetic mounts (sold separately), attach them and find your perfect light spot.
  2. Hole Time: Just like before, drill a hole for the wire lead and secure the light.

Optional Magnetic Mounts:

  1. Magnetic Magic: If you’re using magnetic mounts (sold separately), attach them and find your perfect light spot. Make sure it is on metal/paint to have a secure hold. Don't forget to adhere the plastic rings to the magnets so you don't scratch your paint.
  2. Hole Time: Just like before, drill a hole for the wire lead and secure the light.

Step 4: Taming the Wires

  1. Hide the Evidence: Run the wires along your ride’s existing wiring and zip tie them up high, out of sight.
  2. Zip It Up: Use zip ties to keep everything in place. Seriously, zip ties are your best friend here.
  3. Connect the Dots: Plug the wires into the control module, and you're in business.

Step 5: Power and Ground

  1. Battery or Switch?: Connect the control module to the battery, or better yet, install a switch for easy on/off control.
  2. Upfitter Options: If you’ve got upfitter switches, that’s your easiest route. Just make sure the power source is 12v.

Step 6: Bluetooth Remote and App Control

  1. App It Up First: Before you dive into light shows, connect your app to the control module via Bluetooth.
  2. Download & Pair: Make sure your phone's Bluetooth is on and open the LEDShow app. It should auto-pair with the module.
  3. Power Check: Double-check that the control module is getting 12v power and that the fuse is good to go.
  4. Let the Fun Begin: Now you’re ready to control everything with your phone. Time to light up the night!

Common Mistakes and Pro Tips

  1. Module Placement: Keep that control box away from engine heat.
  2. Wire Routing: Make sure wires are tucked safely away from anything hot or moving. You don’t want melty wires or snapped cables.
  3. Optional: Save your battery and wire in an on/off switch for ultimate control.

Follow these steps, and your ride will be glowing in no time!
